How would you describe your personality in just three words?
Do you think it’s easy or hard to be yourself in social situations? Why?
Who or what inspires you to stay true to yourself?
Can you think of a time when you felt confident about being yourself? What happened?
How do you handle situations where you feel pressured to act differently?
Activity 2: Discussion Questions Let’s discuss these questions in pairs or small groups. Share your thoughts and listen to your partner’s ideas.
Why do you think it’s important to be yourself in today’s world?
What challenges might people face when trying to stay true to themselves?
How can someone build confidence in being authentic?
Do you think social media affects how people express themselves? How?
How do cultural or societal expectations influence the way people behave?
What are some benefits of embracing your uniqueness?
Do you think being yourself always means being the same in every situation? Why or why not?
How can we encourage others to feel comfortable being themselves?
Activity 3: Role-Play – Being Yourself in Different Situations Let’s practice how to express authenticity in various scenarios.
Role 1: Standing Up for Your Beliefs Imagine you’re in a group discussion, and someone expresses an opinion you strongly disagree with. How would you share your perspective respectfully while staying true to yourself? Use phrases like:

“You inspire me by…”
Activity 4: Debate – Staying True to Yourself vs. Adapting to Situations Now, we’ll have a debate. There are two teams, and each team will argue for one perspective.
Team 1: Always Stay True to Yourself Argue why it’s important to never compromise who you are, even in difficult situations.
Team 2: Adapt to Situations When Needed Argue why it’s sometimes better to adjust your behavior to fit different situations.
Debate Guidelines:
Each team will have 3-4 minutes to present their argument.
You can use phrases like:
“We believe that…”
“In our view…”
“One reason to stay true to yourself is…”
“Adapting to situations can help because…”
After the debate, we’ll have a short discussion. Which team’s arguments did you find more convincing, and why?

What does ‘being yourself’ mean to you personally?
What are some ways you can stay true to yourself in your daily life?
How do you balance being yourself while respecting others’ differences?
What advice would you give to someone struggling to embrace who they are?
